Bluestone GPU lighting tool:
Intended for games projects, I was interested in speeding up lightmap render times. Starting out as an attempt to create a GPU version of Renderman's Point Based Global Illumination, over time it has morphed into a depth peel based "ray" tracer. Bluestone is able to render high quality global illumination lightmaps and light volumes in minutes.
Light Pre Pass Renderer:
Despite being old, rusty and in dire need of an overhaul it still manages to churn out pretty pixels. These days it's mainly used to test the results of Bluestone but ultimately I'd like to make a game with it. In addition I've written several content pipeline extensions to help get lights, models and animation quickly into the engine.
